German Lessons for Children
Arrangement of Lessons
Allocation of children in 5 groups lead by qualified German teachers:
- Kindergarten:
Playing and learning in German (poems, songs, games and so on), age 3-5 years
- Preschool:
Playing and learning in German (preschool education, poems, songs, games and so on), 5 years and older
- Course 1:
Children are able to read and write the letters of the alphabet, approx. grade 2 and up
Aim: to read and write in German
- Course 2:
Children are able to read and write in German
Aim: improving reading and writing skills, grammar
- Course 3:
Advanced reading and writing skills in German
Aim: working with literature, advanced grammar
Orientation and Targets
Afternoon classes for native German speaking children or children with solid command of German language.
These German lessons are based on existing knowledge dependent on age, individual skills and educational goals.
The aim of the lessons is to improve the student’s skills in speaking, reading and writing German as well as providing information about the German culture.
German as a Foreign Language
- Pupils and teacher of one of the "German as a Foreign Language" classes
Since March 2009, the “Initiative Deutschunterricht Qatar” offers German language lessons for adults. The lessons are given by experienced German teachers based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
New courses usually start in October, January and April. There is the option of having private lessons, too.
Examinations for German as a foreign language according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages will be offered twice a year.
Arabic Lessons for Germans
Since May 2010 we offer Arabic Lessons for Germans who would like to be introduced in this fascinating language. The teaching language is German.
