Orientation and Targets
German lessons for native speaking children or children with
solid knowledge in German language independent
from actually visited schools in afternoon classes.
German lessons based on existing knowledge in speaking and
writing dependent on age, individual skills
and educational goals.
Long-term objective: recognition of lessons in the home countries
(A, CH, DE)
Arrangement of Lessons
Allocation of children in 5 groups lead by qualified German
teachers:
• Spielgruppe: playing and learning
in German (Poems, Songs, Games,…) age 3-4 years, with
parents
• Kindergarten: playing and learning
in German (Poems, Songs, Games,…) 5 years and older
• Group 1
Children are able to read and write the letters of the alphabet
Aim: to read and write in German
• Group 2
Children are able to read and write in German
Aim: improving reading and writing skills, grammar
• Group 3
Advanced reading and writing skills in German
Aim: working with literature, advanced grammar
German Language Classes in Doha for adults
Having started in March 2009, the “Initiative Deutschunterricht Qatar” in cooperation with the German School Doha and the German Business Council Qatar (GBCQ) offer German language lessons for adults. The lessons are given by experienced teachers based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

On Saturday, May 29th, 2010, Doha, Qatar, saw its first examinations for German as a foreign language according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
