Dear members and dear friends of the German Business Council Qatar,
2010 marks the 8th year of the German Business Council. Our success has been possible due to the outstanding and committed members, staff and board of directors. I would like to thank you all for your active participation in our association.
Every day, the GBCQ works hard to represent you and to be your voice locally and beyond. We are looking forward to fostering communication and networking between German Business Council and other business people in the country, and to building awareness amongst the German business community.
Through the numerous networking opportunities, events and programs, the GBCQ appeals to every facet of the business by strengthening and promoting its members’ local business growth.
Despite the challenging economic times, Qatar remains among the most vibrant, innovating countries in the Middle East and a home to a diverse and dynamic business community. Our membership reflects this dynamism. Our more than 100 member firms include businesses large and small from various business sectors such as electrical engineering, logistics, construction, steel and petrochemical, hotel industry amongst others. Now, in our 8th year, the German Business Council remains an effective business association thanks to its committed members and the professional community that, no doubt, will grow in this new decade.
On behalf of GBCQ, I would like to express our appreciation of your support. We look forward to continue working with you. With positive anticipation to meeting the challenges that await us, we are committed to make 2010 a rewarding year.
